Tireless
Come aboard Tireless... and return to an era of elegance and true craftsmanship that once
was available only to the privileged few. John Trumpy and Sons
built many of the most famous American yachts of the first
three-quarters of the Twentieth Century. SEQUOIA, a Trumpy, was
the Presidential Yacht from Franklin D. Roosevelt's time through
the Kennedy years and for many years thereafter. TIRELESS, a 68' classic motor yacht, was built for
Roger Firestone in 1963 in Annapolis, MD. She represented the
ultimate in luxury and technological advancement for her time.
Through 40 years of loving care and constant modernization and
updating, she remains the proud, head-turning beauty that John
Trumpy created. TIRELESS can comfortably accommodate up to 12
guests for day trips, and can sleep 2 couples( 4) people. Your Tireless experience can be crafted in
any number of ways. It could be a leisurely sunset cruise to
nowhere that might include delicious hors d'oeuvres, an elegant
luncheon, or a gourmet dinner, prepared on board and beautifully
presented by our highly acclaimed chef. For the more
destination-oriented, your options are limited only by your
imagination:
- Plan a cruise of a day, a weekend or longer. Travel on this wonderful yacht in totally modern comfort, while experiencing the luxury and style of a bygone age. We will strive to make your stay with us the vacation of a lifetime.
- Allow us to entertain your guests at small parties
Dining
The formal dining salon features the original Trumpy
mahogany table for six, finely inlaid with tiger maple and ebony.
This paneled and mirrored area also has a comfortable L-shaped
sectional sofa with pullout double bed, television, VCR, and
library. Large windows enable you to enjoy the scenery. Curl up to
watch TV or read in air-conditioned or heated comfort. One of our
recent guests said that they felt that they were in "a wonderful
country inn with a great water view."
Cabins
Both master and guest cabins are notable
for their comfort, generous size and privacy. Settle back in your
air-conditioned stateroom and enjoy! We have tried to anticipate
your every need and want. The softest sheets, thick towels, fresh
