The La Masquerade
![]() |
| LA MASQUERADE was designed to fit her owner''s berth in the South of France. Although this entailed her being exactly 30m in length the owner also desired the attributes of a 50m version. A combination of attributes from her speed, extreme sound insulation and volume are unprecedented in a yacht of her size. Plus a lazarette large enough to house an 18-foot custom tender. To keep the weight to a minimum, aluminium was used for the hull while the radar arch and much of the sun deck were made from composite. Two specially developed types of foam-insulated plywood were introduced and marble weight was halved by using honeycomb. The result is a yacht that offers economy of scale without compromising the intrinsic quality and facilities of a much larger yacht. Lying South of France. | |||||
